CLAY HOOPS• COLLABORATION WITH KEYAIIRA LEATHER + FIBER
A collaboration between fiber artist Keyaira Terry and Kala Stein: handmade terracotta frames are filled with woven sustainable materials including fiber shed, climate-beneficial wool, recycled cotton, sari silks, hand-hammered metals, and locally sourced materials. The various shapes range from six to twenty inches in diameter and originate from sketches in Kala's sketchbook based on simple geometries and silhouettes resembling the soft forms of beach glass or polished river rocks.
